Free Paint Shop Pro Picture Tubes
The following Paint Shop Pro Picture Tubes are 100% free for both personal and commercial use. This means you can sell them, add them to your personal collection, include them with your scrapbooking kits, give them away in your groups, etc. If you get rich off any of these, just remember us! No link backs are required but certainly appreciated. With plans for many more picture tubes to be created, you are sure to find what you are looking for.
Hey, do what you want to with them we don't care, but please, don't claim original authorship or copyright to them. All we ask is that you give credit where credit is due. Most of them contain multiple images in various colors and are saved in both the .tub and .psp file formats.
We create these picture tubes either as part of our daily practice, or as rough draft samples. Others might enjoy them as trinkets or something for their web pages, so we decided to turn some of them into Psp tubes, with the eventual goal of putting together an extensive collection of high quality unique tubes that are compatible with both Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop.

Importing Picture Tubes
Here's how you get them into your picture tube list:
- Click on the Picture Tube Tool located on the Tools Toolbar.
- On the Tool Options Palette, select the Presets Drop down-list.
- Then click on the File Locations Button which is along the right side. This will open the File Locations dialog.
- On the left side of the File Locations dialog, choose the Picture Tubes item in the File Types list.
- On the right side of the dialog, click on the Add button. This will show you the Browse for Folder dialog.
- Go to where your Picture Tubes (or Tubes) folder is located for whichever version of Paint Shop Pro you are using and click on that folder, then click OK. Once you click OK you will see that this closes the Browse for Folder dialog and adds that folder path to the list of Picture Tube file folders.
- Finally, click OK to close the File Locations dialog.
This process will also prove successful if you want to import psptube's into your existing version of Paint Shop Pro from a version that you may have upgraded from.
Quick Help and Faq's
- Q. Windows XP cannot "see" the files within the zip file, they appears empty and Windows XP can't extract these files either.
- A. The compressed files were created with Winzip 9.x, using an encryption and compression scheme that isn't compatible with other older archiving programs, including previous versions of Winzip. You may wish to try:
- Installing another zip program onto your computer.
- Installing a newer version of WinZip
- Q. I can't download the files from this site. When I click the image or download link, the screen pops up, then immediately disappears. Why won't the files download?
- A. You're probably using Windows XP, which has default settings that prevent you from downloading documents automatically. The only way around this problem is to disable XP's default browser settings and allow it to automatically download documents:
- In your IE browser, click Tools | Internet Options
- Go to the Security tab, then click the Custom Level button.
- Under the Downloads section of the list, look for Automatic prompting for file downloads and click Enable.
- Click OK.
