Corel Paint Shop Pro X - In October 2004, Corel Corporation acquired Jasc Software, Inc., for the purpose of extending it's reach into the digital imaging software market. In September 2005 under the name "Corel Paint Shop Pro" Corel released Paint Shop Pro X which included changes to the now "revamped" learning center to help new users get started, a Black and White film converter that included color filter effects just to name a few.

Some of the old tools present in Paint Shop Pro 9 no longer appear in the menus. For example the tool used to set black and white points. It's still there, but it's buried deeply in the "Unused Commands" section which can only be found by going to View > Customize > Unused Tools menu system, then dragging the tool onto one of the existing menu bars.

The following psp tutorials were created using Corel's Paint Shop Pro X.

NOTE: The Pick Tool(P) is the Raster Deform Tool(D) in Paint Shop Pro 9
