Files created in Photoshop's native format, .PSD, can be exported to and from Adobe ImageReady, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Encore DVD, for adding special effects such as backgrounds, textures, and such, for the web, television, and film.
